I finally got a new frisbee!
I owned a really, really old one that I sort of inherited from my uncle — he had one when he was in college. It was a plain, cream colored one with a Coca-Cola logo (which you can barely see). I used it for quite a time — even bringing it to class & company outings. Somehow, the dog got hold of it and found it really delicious 🙁
It was only this month that I thought of getting a new one, because our company held an Ultimate Frisbee session for newbies as part of the Wellness Program.
Good thing I was able to score one from Ebay — it is a little expensive to buy from local sports stores. I almost bought one from the Philippine Ultimate Association website, but I didn’t like the designs.
I got this from ebay seller fourthfret (Monci), for less than P800. He was also nice enough to accommodate my last minute meet up request at Gateway Mall 😀 Five stars for this seller! 😀
Why did I name this Maya? After Amami Yuki’s character in “Joou no Kyoushitsu”, Akutsu Maya (ryakushite AkuMa!) ♥
I bumped into Arnel at (surprise, surprise) PICC yesterday and told him to let me know as soon as a new frisbee session is scheduled because I am really excited to play with this (I didn’t go to the last one — I was avoiding someone I didn’t like).
