On a scrapbooking roll!

Posted by Cat Ramos

Since the boyfriend is away on business again, I have a lot more free time to do some stuff. One, I am finally able to tackle those pesky household chores that have piled up — like waxing the floor. I think my floor hasn’t seen a coat of wax in more than a year! ๐Ÿ˜€ Two, I am making good progress on my scrapbooking projects. I am halfway through the Vigan book, and I’ve just started on the Bohol one. It is a little challenging, because I decided to make the Bohol album an 8.5 x 11 book – I’m not used to it, but I’ll get there ๐Ÿ˜€ I’d be finished with the Vigan book before this month ends, and hopefully, I’d be halfway done with Bohol.

Another Crisologo layout

Featuring shots from around Calle Crisologo

I don’t like how this page turned out – it is so random. I was watching ‘Shiroi Kyoto’ (The Great White Tower – Jdorama starring Karasawa Toshiaki and Eguchi Yousuke) while making this and I was depressed at the story, so I was randomly crumpling, tearing and pasting paper, and slapping on stickers and buttons ๐Ÿ˜€

Paper – Papemelroti, Provo Craft
Buttons – Uncle Bill’s, La Beada Loca
Alphabet rub-ons – Uncle Bill’s
Ink – All about Scrapbooking, ColorBox
Others – map and text block cut from a Vigan travel brochure

Calesa

A page dedicated to Vigan's King of the Road!

Now this layout, I liked more than the previous one. Hehe. I love that it’s colorful and I was able to ‘tone down’ the formal look of the 2 background papers I used.

Paper – Die Cuts with a View, Mead, Momenta
Foam letter stickers – All about Scrapbooking
Fabric-covered chipboard circles – All about Scrapbooking
Paper and fabric flowers – Papemelroti
Buttons – La Beada Loca, All about Scrapbooking
Suede cord – La Beada Loca
Horse charms – La Beada Loca
Ink – All about Scrapbooking
Journaling stamp – Making Memories

'Charming' detail

I glued one of the horses to my journaling block – worked nicely, I think ๐Ÿ™‚

I’ve been meaning to write a little something about La Beada Loca, ย one of my most favorite online sellers – I say this not because she is a good friend of mine, but because her products are of great quality and even greater price! Hopefully, I can come up with a post very soon.

I have a few more pages, but I’ll post them separately. Right now, I need to sleep – monthends at work is a real HELL!

Hi Schatz! โ™ฅ I’m having lots of fun — and I promise you I’ll stick to that “no-buy for the month of June” thing ๐Ÿ˜€
