I have two friends at school who have been gossip targets of other teachers and admin staff for the longest time. Peewee-kun & JLo have been good friends for a long time, are always together and JLo does not hide the fact that he admires her. Peewee-kun and I used to talk about that a lot, especially when I was still teaching in Makati and we used to have a good laugh over the latest Peewee-JLo stories.
Recently, the gossips did a “level up”, because this time, the rumours are about them being in a relationship. I won’t confirm or deny that — because I don’t have the right to. So what if they are dating? So what if they are not? Is it really important for people to know? It shouldn’t be anybody’s business anyway. It is Peewee-kun & JLo’s right to shut up about what is happening between them. THEY DO NOT OWE ANYONE AN EXPLANATION. They can come out in the open about it, or they can choose to not tell anyone about it. Again, people should not care, because this only concerns Peewee-kun & JLo and no one else.
This is why I was not able to help myself from retorting when ADHD said in the faculty room “Nag-out na sila sa relationship nila kaya di na namin sila tinutukso”. I know I said some nasty things that made the beeyatch leave the room in a huff. And I didn’t care. Joy-san and the others told me later that they were shocked at my reaction and at how angry I was at that moment. I gave them a lengthy explanation for the outburst (including the stuff that happened in Makati) but I stopped short of telling them of my hunch: that that beeyatch, in all her OTAKU GLORY, has the hots for JLo. Harhar.
I really think you are only concerned about whether they are boyfriend and girlfriend IF YOU HAVE THE HOTS FOR JLO. Otherwise, you shouldn’t give a damn about what is happening between them. I really hope everyone shuts up already.
