Historically, Jdoramas on the Monday 9pm time slot (aka Getsu-Ku) are always the most anticipated in any season — and the most highly rated. They are even popular outside Japan. The series 101th Proposal, for example, will reportedly be turned into a movie in China.
There are so many Jdoramas that have been aired in this time slot. But according to a Goo Ranking poll, here are the Jdoramas that are considered the all-time favourites of TV viewers:

The oldest series is from 1989 (Kyoushi Binbin Monogatari season 2. The 1st season was aired in 1988 but did not make it to the list above) and the ‘latest’ from 2008 – CHANGE.
Woo, GALILEO made the list! And another Masha series, Hitotsu Yane no Shita. I have finished downloading the first season and will watch that as soon as I have some time. Haven’t seen most of the ones aired in the 80s. 101st Proposal is particularly weird for me because the guy in the lead role is the bomb maker in the first episode of Amami Yuuki’s BOSS. Wow, it’s THAT old. I just thought it feels odd to see him playing a lover boy role. 😀 Last Christmas — I don’t remember if I finished this one. I got annoyed with Oda Yuji in this series for his acting and for his singing voice 😛
