Commercial break muna, haha. Pond’s will be having its month-long Big Beauty Sale starting this Saturday, August 15th. Imagine getting as much as 70% discount on your favorite Pond’s product. With Pond’s, it was always a hit-and-miss with me. Sometimes, I like it, sometimes I don’t. But one unlikely person who is in love with Pond’s is definitely my boyfriend! I myself was a bit surprised because he kept on insisting on buying his own Pond’s stuff instead of using mine every time he spends the night at my house. I kept telling him to stop using the whitening ones because he is already very pale, but he says he is ‘hiyang’ with the Flawless White line. I guess it’s a lost cause, then.
I don’t use a lot of Pond’s products because almost everything seem to have some whitening ingredient. I have everything from the Age Miracle line, but sadly, not everything worked for me. Maybe it is because the line only works for those aged mid-30s and up. I gave away my Day Cream (to my willing victim, my boyfriend, of course) and still trying to use up the Night Repair Cream (does not moisturize very well, but makes my T-zone oil up a lot — and I have dry skin). I do like the Dual Therapy Eye Cream and the Microdermabrasion kit — except for the after-scrub cream. It does nothing but make my face shine with all its shimmer.
