The Dark Knight Rises Cast Appreciation.
Major props to Chris Nolan for assembling such a stellar ensemble. Its full of seasoned vets and talented up and comers, All either Nominated or have already won Oscars. TDKR’s cast will go down as one of the greatest in film history.
Lets all just take a moment and let it sink in that we now live in a world where BATMAN is portrayed by an Oscar winner and that comic book movies, which once was looked down on as mere “Popcorn fluff” mind you, is now apart of the Oscars and the possibility of a “super hero movie” winning best picture IS indeed possible. I mean Heath Ledger already grabbed one for the team for best supporting actor for his iconic role as the Joker. Batman Begins was spectacular, The Dark Knight, groundbreaking, and I can hardly contain the excitement and anticipation I have for what The Dark Knight Rises has in-stored for us come this summer. Chris Nolan and Co. truly have elevated the genre from camp to serious cinema and they should all be recognized for it. Bravo.
Yes, I included Liam And Cillian because, we all know they’re showing up in the film, whether it be through flashbacks or cameos.
