If you are familiar with the City of Makati, you might have passed by areas called CEMBO and REMBO. You are probably wondering what’s with the funky names. These areas, called “military barangays”, were parts of a big Philippine army camp where soldiers live. These are now part of an ownership dispute between the cities of Makati and Taguig.
