Earlier this month, the University of Santo Tomas (UST) received the official confirmation from the Guinness World Records on the largest human cross in the world. UST achieved the feat earlier in the year, with more than 13,000 people forming a large Dominican cross at the football field.
The previous record was held by Norway with over 900 people.
Just to check, I went to the GWR website and searched for “largest human cross” and here is what I found out:
The largest human cross was achieved by 935 participants at an event organised by the Oslo Red Cross (Norway) at the Oslo Opera House in Oslo, Norway on 7 May 2010.
Site’s not updated 😉
Anyway, congratulations to my alma mater for this feat…and congratulations too on a nice game today vs the UE Red Warriors. I nearly had a heart attack. Tsk tsk. 😉
