Last season’s big winner Adam Levine became the first coach to complete his team of 12 artists in the sophomore season of The Voice.
It doesn’t look like Adam stuck to his season 1 formula, going for artists that might have been Xtina’s or CeeLo’s choices. But hey, the guy knows what he is doing and I am really rooting for this team ^_^
Here is Team Adam’s formidable lineup:
- Tony Lucca
- Kim Yarbrough
- Angel Taylor ♥
- Pip ♥ – His rendition of “House of the Rising Sun” blew everyone away. Despite his age and his lovely, boy-next-door looks, I am sure Pip is a force to be reckoned with in this competition. Pfft, I think he looks a bit like the guy sitting next to me at work 😀 😀 😀
- Katrina Parker ♥ – I love her soothing voice. She did “One of Us” in an almost jazzy way. I hope she will go far in this season.
- Chris Cauley ♥
- Nathan Parrett
- Nicole Galyon
- Karla Davis
- Mathai ♥ – Really, really unique voice and knows how to work the crowd. Everyone turned around except for Xtina. I would love to see her go head-to-head against Lindsay Pavao or Erin Martin.
- Whitney Dyer
- Orlando Napier ♥ – Coach Cool bags Mister Cool! He did John Mayer’s “Waiting on the World to Change”, and loved how he made it sound so blues-y and much more relaxing. He reminds me of Voldemort, for some reason 😛
My favourites in this team are marked with a ♥. That’s quite a lot, right? Half of the team, actually. Probably the most among the 4 teams. 😀
I saw a preview of the Battle Rounds…I hope I am wrong…But I think Adam will let go of Kim Yarbrough early on. >_< Well, let’s just see what happens. Keeping my fingers crossed that my faves will stay on longer. ^_^
