Wake me up when September ends?
September has always been a difficult month for me, particularly at work. Not only during close of the month. As it is also the quarter end, we always find ourselves drowing in work for the most part of the month. But I decided I’m going to stop thinking about the hell we experience at the office and focus on the great things that happened to me this month.
Well, there are A LOT, but here are my top 5 🙂
1. UAAP: UST-Adamson round 2 game – Can’t blame me, I am a fan. Go USTE! This ticket is going into my scrapbook, of course.
2. UAAP Final Four donuts from Krispy Kreme – it’s not the donut itself, of course. It’s the fact that my school made it to the Final Four even after “analysts” said UST would only end up at 6th place at most. Belat. 😛
3. Kyoto postcard – I got this from my dear friend Miho. We finally reconnected after 1,056,478 years and she sent me this lovely postcard of one of the most beautiful places in the world. Next time, Miho, let’s tour Kyoto together!
4. A rainbow – I can’t remember the last time I saw a rainbow and smiled. I was on my way home when I saw this over Serendra. I received very sad news that day: my very first boss in my current company passed away after a long battle with an illness she’s kept secret from everyone. I saw the rainbow and somehow, I was assured that she is now in a much happier place, where there is only laughter and health and love. I miss you, Miss K.
5. Fukuyama Masaharu’s concert DVD: 15th anniversary tour ~Kaze~ – Yessss! I finally have it! I’ve been lusting for this since I saw the “Dear” clip on Youtube. I thought Masha looked like a prince, dressed all in white. And then there’s “HEAVEN”. Hekhekhek. I can’t remember how many times I’ve played that clip. 😀
Cyber slacking time is over…got to resume working again 😛
